Yosemite is known for its towering granite cliffs, famous waterfalls, and iconic valley views, but there's so much more to the park than the places everyone recognizes. Some of its most beautiful scenes can be found looking beyond the familiar landmarks.
I was drawn to this view by the way the setting sun painted the mountains in shades of pink and orange. As the light moved across the landscape, each ridge took on its own color and character, creating layers that seemed to stretch endlessly into the distance. That progression of color, light, and shadow is what inspired my composition.
This photograph captures a quieter, less familiar side of Yosemite, one that doesn't always get the same attention as the park's most famous sights. For me, it's a reminder that sometimes the most rewarding views are the ones that invite you to look beyond what you already know.
